Anime Animals - Draw unique animals in the style of Japanese Anime cartooning.  Your characters will be one of a kind! 

 

Best Friends in Clay- Take an adventure in art creating our doggy friends in clay and painting in underglazes. Clay sculptures will be kiln fired.

 

Clay Birdhouses- This whimsical house for the birds will provide hours of fun and creativity for the student; and for the birds it will provide a fine home with artistic flair and style! You will learn how to create a birdhouse by using coils and slabs. Finished pieces will be painted with underglaze and kiln fired. 

 

Crochet Cats- NEW!  Learn the basics of crochet while making a cute kitten.  All supplies included!

 

Intro to Graphic Design-  Are you a future graphic artist/designer? Do you have fun illustrating books, designing web pages & seeing your work in print or online? We explore the tools and knowledge to explore the wonderful world of Graphic Art. Each student will also be introduced to how to create, share & view their artwork for both web and print media.

 

Fabric Mosaic on Canvas - Using pieces of fabric as your mosaic pieces, create a beautiful mosaic scene on canvas.  

 

Friendly Farm Art- Draw and paint pastoral scenes and the bright eyes of cows and other friendly farm animals. 

 

Outer Space is the Place (Clay)- How fun it is to create art with Space Exploration in mind? Galaxies, Astronauts, and exciting Spaceships are all possible subjects for this clay class!

 

Painting Safari- Children will have fun as they exercise their fine motor skills while they learn about the wonderful tactile medium of clay. They will learn how to construct African animals using slabs, coils and pinch pots. Projects will be kiln-fired.  

 

Paper Mache Animal Portraits - Awesome animals brought to life in 3D paper mache.  Create your pet or a wild animal in relief or 3D.

 

Pokemon Cartooning- Use your creativity to create fun comic-style art using your favorite Pokemon characters. Create a comic page or scene featuring your choice of characters, as you learn techniques in drawing, inking, and lettering. All materials included.

 

Preschool Art-  Take some time to explore art with this class for our littlest artists! Stories and games will be incorporated into the weekly art projects. The focus of this class will be on exploration and fun. Come to class ready to make a mess and a masterpiece!

Red Fish, Blue Fish- Explore real life tropical marine life from tide pools to coral reefs and the open ocean beyond and also enjoy animated fish like Dr. Seuss's classic, "One Fish, Two Fish". Drawing and painting and mixed media projects.

 

Street Art- Incorporating stencil art (like the famous Banksy), as well as lettering (overlapping letters like wildstyle, bubble or block letters), shadow and gradation, students will create urban artworks on paper and canvas

 

Sweet Treats - YUMMY! Have a delicious time drawing and painting the tastiest art around! We will draw and paint delicious sweet treats like cake or candy or anything sweet and arranged beautifully and colorfully. 

 

Tapestry for Teens- Using a small table loom, create a beautiful wall hanging.  Various colors and textures of yarn, thread and fabric weave together to create a one-of-a-kind work of art.  Experiment with the patterns and textures to create your own masterpiece!

 

World Explorers - Time for an art adventure.  Learn about the art styles and techniques from around the world in this international extravaganza.  Painting, drawing and mixed media techniques will be utilized.
